The weather was gorgeous this weekend so we decided to spend both Saturday and Sunday by the water. On Saturday, we drove down to Atlantic Beach for my second beach visit. My first time at the beach was when Uncle Dan, Aunt Roz, and my cousin Aidan came out to visit us, but then I slept pretty much the whole time. This time I was wide awake enjoyed all the different sights, but we didn't stay too long because the wind was still really cold coming off the ocean. In the afternoon, we had fun grilling-out with a couple of Dad's friends who live at Atlantic Beach. We all had a great time.

On Sunday, we drove to Oriental, a town about 30 miles from our house on the Neuse River. We went for a nice long walk and had fun looking at all the big sailboats in the harbor and the pretty houses on the waterfront.
