CELEBRATE!!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!! We missed everyone back home and want to thank everyone who sent me nice Christmas presents in the mail. Here's some pictures of me enjoying some of my fun new presents...

And Mom got her wish of having some snow for the holidays. We almost had a "white Christmas," (It was one day late).
Since there's only like one snowpolow in the whole county, I did my part to help clear the roads a little bit...

And there was still some snow left on the ground for Mom's birthday!

Do you like the huge birthday balloon I picked out for Mom?!

I even helped make Mom's birthday cake, and waited patiently all day long to light the candles.

Happy New Year to you all!

Bedtime

Things needed to ensure a good night's rest...
Tractor-check
Baseball bat-check
Wooden train-check
Jar of peanut butter-check
PVC pipe-check, check

Quite the array of bedtime items, don't you think?

Bedtime Cowboy

Settlin' in for some rest the way the cowboys do it. Now, all I need is that horse Mom and Dad say they're gonna buy for me someday.

Fun Stuff

Mom keeps hoping for a snowstorm to hit North Carolina so that we can have some snow for the holidays. Well, Saturday night Mom got a little bit of her wish. Yep, we actually got a little snow! It only lasted for about an hour, but Mom made sure we went outside to make the most of it even though it was bedtime.

You can barely see the flecks of snow, but I swear we're not making this stuff up.

This weekend was also fun because we finally had another Celtics game to watch on tv. I was pretty into the game and was copying some of Shaq's dunks.

I like being sneeky these days.
Shhh...Dont' tell Dad

Thanksgiving Weekend

We all had a nice Thanksgiving weekend. We started out by having Thanksgiving dinner at our friends' house and that was a lot of fun. Then, we spent the rest of the weekend outside enjoying the nice weather. Here's a couple of the fun things we did:

A lot of people rake the leaves in their yard in the fall, but me and Dad discovered a new way to clean up the yard. You see, we didnt' get the rake because me and Dad were so fast that we'd catch the leaves before they even hit the ground! Mom got some fun action shots of our leaf catching skills:

This weekend we also went to a tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. I was a real good tree-picker-outer.
C'mon Mom, hurry it up!

Time to get to work.

This one looks kinda nice...

Hmmm, a little crooked...

Got it! Time to load up the tree!

So long tree farm. See ya next year!

At Sea, In The Air, And At Home

Terror of the Seas:
A couple weeks ago we went back down to visit the Aquarium since we haven't been there in a while. Most kids just like watching all the fun animals at the aquarium. But, that day I figured I'd give a little something back to the animals for all their hard work entertaining us.
First was the river otter exhibit. Usually they are sleepy in the mornings when we visit, but that day they were having a lot of fun jumping off the rocks and diving in the water. So, I put a little show on for them too. A couple of the otters were so entertained by me jumping around in front of their home that they kept coming right up to the glass to watch me.

Next was the little shark tank. They were a harder bunch to entertain. But, eventually, the sharks started circling around to watch my balancing act.
I even wore my "terror of the seas" shark shirt to show the sharks.
We couldn't leave the aquarium without checking one of my favorite exhibits: the frogs.
I really would've loved to bring one of my favorite animals home from the aquarium. I liked the frogs, but I already have two frogs at home. The river otters were nice too, but what I really want is a shark. I guess we don't have room for a shark at our house right now so I've settled for a...
Pet goldfish! Finley is a pretty cool little fish. My frogs, Fiona and Fern, are happy to have him as a neighbor.
Pilot Training:
I really like watching all the planes and helicopters that are always close to our house. Someday I think I might be a pilot. For now, I've been practicing my flying skills with my toy jet...

And with Dad!

Bookworm:
At night I really like curling up with some good books for a while. Some days I feel pretty grown-up and opt for something a little more challenging than my picture books; like one of Mom's novels...or two...or three.

Puddle Pals

Me and Kota love playing outside after it rains because we are really good at finding the BEST puddles to splash in. After we were all puddled out, we moved on to the ditch for some muddin' fun :)

(Kiara kept an eye on us from a safe distance to avoid being splashed by me and Kota)

And just a couple recent pictures of me with Mom and Dad:
Me and Dad all ready for a night out on the town. (Yes, my baseball bat accompanied us).
Me and Mom pumped up for the Celtics season-opener. We all had fun watching them beat Miami, and I even got to stay up real late that night and eat ice cream way past my bedtime.

Fall Time. Time For...

Football! Football is one of my favorite sports. Grandma Robin and Uncle Mitchell made sure to get me a Vikings jersey. Now, me and Dad have to get our hands on a Moss jersey.

I had my game-face on this morning when I was practicing.

Fall isn't just about football, pumpkins, and trick-or-treating. At our house, I've been enjoying Dinosuar Days. For the past couple of weeks I've been enjoying riding my dinosaur at the park; reading my new favorite library book, How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?; watching Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs; and best of all, pretending to be a dinosaur! I roar at Mom and Dad all the time. I even roared my way up and down every aisle at the grocery store the other day. I was sure to smile at people after I roared so they knew I was a nice dinosaur :)

I still keep doing my part to help out around the house. Somedays I get right to work before I'm even fully dressed. (But, I'm sure to put on my working boots first). I even clean some of the things Mom doesn't think to clean. Aren't I big help?
I work up quite a sweat outside sometimes so I have to come in for a quick milk-break. You can tell I was working hard here because I had to take my shirt off (a little thing I picked up from Uncle Tyler).
