Homecoming

Last Friday I got to go watch all the fun homecoming stuff at school. In the morning I watched the boys' volleyball game with Mom, Grandma Ellen and Grandma Robin. Aunt Kelly even gave me this cool bandanna to wear so that everyone knew who I was cheering for.

Uncle Tyler did a good job in the volleyball game and even stuck around so Mom could get a picture of us afterward.

And I got to take a picture with Aunt Kelly too.
We took a break from the festivities at lunch but I kept my bandanna on because it made me look so tough.
In the afternoon I got to watch Aunt Kelly play football. Go Aunt Kelly!

We watched the parade in the afternoon and tried to watch some of the football game that night, but I was too tuckered out from all the excitement during the day. What a fun day!

My Birthday Party

It's already been a few weeks since my birthday, but Mom has been awfully slow with the blog so we finally got some pictures for you. Thank goodness Aunt Roz had her camera at my party because Mom's camera needed new batteries. Thanks Aunt Roz!

My super cool birthday cake!

My Best Buds

My puppies and I are becoming the best of friends. I love playing with them outside. I've also learned that I can get my puppy Lakota to follow me wherever I go if I carry one of his frisbees with me. Here's some pictures of us from the past couple of weeks.

My Daddy

I love watching the two videos that Daddy was able to send me. We used to watch them on the computer, but now we watch them on the TV and I think it's pretty cool that my Daddy is on TV. He even found a couple stories that I have so that I can follow along in my book while he reads to me on the video. Can't wait for you to be home Daddy!

Minnesota Zoo

Yesterday afternoon Mom and me went to the zoo with Uncle Mitchell, Uncle Tyler, and Abby. We all had a nice time.
Mom and me at the start of our zoo trip on our way to see the giraffes and zebras.

Tyler, Abby, and me going to see the camels.
My favorite animals yesterday were the goats. This big white one thought that I tasted delicious and I thought it was really funny when he licked me.

We liked all the animals at the zoo, but a couple more of our favorites were the grizzly bears,

And the gibbons.

I also thought this big pretend turtle was cool and Uncle Tyler tought me how to ride it (although I prefered standing by him rather than riding him).

The last animals we went to see were the sharks and dolphins. With so many things to see, I didn't really like sitting still for pictures. So, I wouldn't sit still long enough to get a picture with the dolphin in the background but you can kind of see it coming up from the bottom of the tank.
One last picture of Mom and me before we went home.

And lucky me, I even got to bring home a pet monkey from the zoo!

The Little Ham I Am

Mommy says that I remind her more and more of Daddy every day. She says that she's so happy that she has me to bring her so many laughs throughout the day.

Here I was being a goofball when I was supposed to be eating my lunch today.

Today I also decided that I still like my little baby bouncer. I am just a bit too big for it but I was having so much fun that Mommy didn't care.
I still like reading my books all the time. My new thing is to look at the books both right- side up and upside down. They're much more interesting that way.

My puppies love being around me all the time and I think they're a lot of fun to play with. I think my puppy Lakota wishes that I was a little bit bigger so that we could play frisbee together. Today, after he would fetch his frisbee he kept dropping it in my lap so that I could throw it for him, so Mommy helped me out a little.

My First 4th

Yesterday, Mom, Carissa, and me celebrated the 4th of July at the beach. I couldn't play in the water too much because the waves were bigger yesterday, but I still had fun playing in the sand like usual. The fireworks were on the sound side of the island this year which Mom was kind of bummed out about, but they still looked pretty. At first I was kind of scared of the noise, but after a few went up and I saw all the pretty colors, I wasn't scared anymore. Mommy was kind of surprised that the noise scared me since other loud noises like the jets on base don't bother me, but hopefully next year I won't mind them at all. We hope all of you had a safe and happy 4th of July!
